As a responsible steward of the environment, the Bleu Claire Development Team has committed to develop Bleu Claire as a Green Community. In doing so, Bleu Claire will follow the highest environmental standards as created by the Florida Green Building Coalition. “Going Green” will not only help retain the natural beauty of the community’s environment, but will also provide long term health benefits, cost savings and higher property values.
The Bleu Claire property will “Go Green” by using certified design standards, some of the Green aspects will include:
High efficiency lighting and HVAC systems
Lighting systems with energy saving bulbs
High quality building materials with Low VOC’s(Volatile Organic Compounds)
White insulated roof to reduce heat
Sealed air ducts during construction to enhance indoor air quality
Pervious pavers throughout the site to allow rainwater to seep into the ground
Highly rated insulation on all exterior walls to enhance energy savings
Hot water recirculation system in each residence
Trash chute with recycle bin in each residence
High impact, high rated glass windows to limit heat transfer(?)
